From humble beginnings as a wine bar in Fitzroy, McCoppins has grown into a small chain of gourmet supermarkets and a boutique bottleshop. Family-owned and operated since 1978, we've spent over four decades building relationships with local producers, importing hard-to-find products, and becoming a part of the neighbourhoods we serve.
Offering a notable range of local and international cheeses, premium deli goods, artisan bread, fresh produce, specialty groceries, and an outstanding selection of wine, craft beer, and spirits — our stores are designed for people who love good food and drink.
The in-store range is carefully curated rather than crammed. We carry fewer products than a big supermarket, but every item on the shelf is there because we believe in it. If we wouldn't buy it ourselves, we don't stock it. That philosophy has kept our customers coming back for nearly fifty years.
